Step 1. Add bead to hook, build thread base and prepare a piece of Leech Body.
Step 2. Remove hook from vice, measure leech tail for length and run the point of the hook through the body material and up the bend to the thread base.
Step 3. Apply a light amount of superglue to the thread base.
Step 4. Quickly pinch the butt of the material down and on either side of the hook shank. Hold for a few seconds to allow the material to bond well with the glue. If you used too much glue, your fingers are now glued to the hook as well:-)
Step 5. Secure the butt end of the material with firm but not tight wraps of thread.
Step 6. The material butt and gap up to the bead can be covered with mohair of similar leach material.
